A perfect beach read, even up north in January. Love the characters and how the book ended. This is a novella, yet it is incredible how much depth of characters and story Jude Deveraux incorporates in this most enjoyable read. A real feel good book. She also has no respect, and no contact, with her boss, Mac Taggert.

This was such a mess. It gets really funny and interesting after that, although the ending is ch Okay, I really loved this one, mostly because it is set in the business world and Karen is a hoot.

Jude’s early books are set largely in 15th- and 16th-century England; in them her fierce, impassioned protagonists find themselves in the midst of blood feuds and wars. She gets to the point with her strong character’s and weaves magic to create interesting stories. The story line e was predictable but fun. However, Kate has a secret yearning to have a child before her biological clock expires.
This novella stands alone, and can be enjoyed by anyone. In fact, with ‘s The Mulberry TreeDeveraux seems to be getting more comfortable setting stories in the present, which is a good thing, since the fans she won with her historical books are eager to follow her into the future.
Only downfall it was a short story didn’t noticed it was only five chapters Published November 27th by Pocket Star first published November 1st They’re fighters, certainly, but they’re also beauties who are preoccupied with survival and family preservation.
